As part of its commitment to supporting the next generation of design talent, Bernhardt was proud to host students participating in the 2026 Bienenstock Future Designers Summit at its showroom. Now in its sixth year, the Summit brings together promising juniors, seniors and graduate students from across the country studying furniture, interior, industrial and textile design for an immersive look at the home furnishings industry.
During their time at Bernhardt, students took part in a panel discussion with industry designers, enjoyed lunch and toured the showroom, gaining firsthand insight into the creative process and the many disciplines that bring a collection to life. By opening its doors to these emerging designers, Bernhardt was honored to support an experience that encourages curiosity, builds industry connections and inspires the future of design.
The Future Designers Summit is organized by the Bienenstock Furniture Library to connect emerging designers with industry professionals through educational sessions, mentorship and networking opportunities.
