Bernhardt welcomed design professionals and industry leaders for *The Future of Design*, an engaging conversation during Fall 2026 High Point Market. Featuring design icons Margaret Russell ([@margaretrussell](https://www.instagram.com/margaretrussell/)) and Martyn Lawrence Bullard ([@martynbullard](https://www.instagram.com/martynbullard/)), the event explored the global trends, emerging challenges and creative possibilities poised to shape interior design over the next five, ten and twenty years.

The conversation offered guests valuable perspectives on navigating an evolving home industry while finding new sources of inspiration and opportunity. Three lucky designers also took home a copy of Bullard’s book, *Star Style*, adding a special touch to an afternoon of insight and connection.
