Oct 10 2024 [Inspiration](https://blog.bernhardt.com/tag/inspiration) | [Design Notes](https://blog.bernhardt.com/tag/design-notes) ![Bernhardt Furniture Menton Collection](https://blog.bernhardt.com/hubfs/RS_Loft_352132_352219_Menton_Vign_SH-1.jpeg) Architectural lines and shapes have long been a major inspiration in the world of design. Bernhardt’s Menton collection takes that vision and transforms it into unadorned profiles with a low-key modernist perspective. A distinctive linear style marks each piece as an essential style setter, with exaggerated reeding and textural materials. The look is casual but still cutting-edge and fresh, all presented in a moody and dark finish. It’s an aesthetic that balances the line between futuristically bold style and livable design. ---   ![RS_Loft_352011_352911_Menton_Vign_Square-1](https://blog.bernhardt.com/hubfs/RS_Loft_352011_352911_Menton_Vign_Square-1.jpeg)   A Clever Twist. The Menton cocktail table offers a distinctive twist for its design, as the base wraps around like a ribbon, crafted of linear reeding. It supports an oval top that showcases the wood’s natural look through the deep Sutton finish. The console table has a casually cool style with simple lines and architectural detailing. A rectangular top offers softened edges and a stunning textural grain.   [![Menton Cocktail Table](https://blog.bernhardt.com/hubfs/photo-output-Oct-10-2024-05-10-41-1693-PM-1.jpeg)](https://www.bernhardt.com/shop/352011?position=-1) Bernhardt Loft | Menton ## Menton Cocktail Table Deep reeding and a unique ribbon design make a statement on this cocktail table. Modern skylines offer inspiration for the unique design of the Menton dining table. The sleek beveled top appears to float above bold structural legs that anchor each corner. Texture speaks volumes here, with a wood grain that takes the spotlight in a deep and moody finish. Those straightforward lines also make their mark on the drum-shaped accent and side tables, offering a design that is both casual and modern, with an elevated appeal. A modern perspective is redefined in a moody palette for the Menton buffet. Perfectly combining beauty and function, the design offers two deeply reeded doors and three pull-to- open drawers with cast aluminum pulls. That functional style takes a subtle approach in the nightstand with linear slatting around the base and the sides of the top, and a smooth table surface. A hidden pull-to-open drawer is accessed with a finger pull.
