The Pinnacle Awards were created in April 1995 by the International Society of Furniture Designers (ISFD), to promote design quality and encourage the recognition of furniture designers within the retail home furnishings industry.
As such, the awards are intended to celebrate furniture design and are open to any designer or manufacturer worldwide. Awards are presented each fall at the High Point Furniture Market.

Presented in a mid-tone Tobacco and deeper Molasses finish, the veneers are hand waxed and distressed and feature character marks such as knots and mineral streaks to create an authentic, aged look. Blackened cast iron and a creative use of antique mirror, leather inserts and metal framing add a touch of the eclectic, while blackened solid brass hardware completes the antique feel. Modern conveniences and versatility abound with media components, hidden storage compartments, adjustable shelving, jewelry trays and silverware inserts.
